The universal geo-information VR platform was created in Russia

In the framework of the project it is planned to create relevant, accurate digital Earth twin for visual monitoring of changes, modeling of processes, controlling of territory development.

Within the platform the terrain is recreated by scanning the surface in stereo mode and fully corresponds to the real world. Highly detailed flora is «grown» in accordance with multispectral data obtained by Earth remote sensing satellites. Weather and atmosphere data are updated via the Internet.

Based on the new platform it is also planned to create a virtual cloud environment for collaboration in the field of design, monitoring and control. Atlas VR can also be used to create large-scale presentations and staff training.
